Only place that has shrimp de jonghe in town. Is why I keep going back! Never again! Watery salad, bad service!

First of all, the waitress never once came back to our table to ask if we needed anything, how our salad was -- which had very little dressing and I would have like more -- how our food was or anything else we needed. My husband found a rather large piece of Saran wrap in his potato salad from the... More

Old 70s look inside. Attentive wait staff took great care of us. Management stopped by all our tables to make sure all was well. The tables were properly set and the food was very tasty. Would definitely use this place again.

This is the kind of place your parents would have gone to; lighting on the darker side, wood paneling, and a slightly older clientele. The two of us both had steaks, but with different side. Everything was very good, as was the service. No wonder this establishment has been here for quite some time!

We were there for my daughters wedding reception and it took over an hour before we could go into the room. They said it was because the vendor for the table cloths were late. However, they didn't do anything to try and solve the problem other than telling us to wait....50+ people waiting in a hallway impeding the wait staffs... More

Al's Steak House takes you back to an era when dining out was special. The interior is decorated with large padded booths, brick and wrought iron walls with an open kitchen as well as an attached bar area and large group dining areas. The open fire grilled steaks are great and their salad bar is wonderful. Table service is prompt... More

Reservations at 5:30 and was seated at 5:15 with requested table for handicapped mother-in-law. I placed a reservation three days in advance for new years eve and if not, wait was approximately 90 minutes. Porterhouse steaks and ribs were excellent including salad bar. Thanks for the free dessert.

When u take a loved one out to eat what do u think of first. The price, the location, the food, the service, the environment. Well with Al's Steak House you don't have to worry about any of these. It's conveniently located in Joliet off Jefferson Street which is a main drag that runs directly East and West of most... More

I've been here 3 times and it's the best steak you will get in Joliet. There's not much else out there, but this place is still pretty good. Will be back again

Thank Mike R
