Best place for breakfast in Lincoln, IL. I have been coming here since I was a child. I have never been disappointed in any of the food I have ordered. My favorite is 2 eggs medium, with American fries, sausage (best I have ever had, fresh) and request gravy on the potatoes. I chose wheat toast served with jam. Very... More

We like to go to Mama's on Sunday mornings. It's usually busy but if you have to wait, it won't be long. It's a good breakfast for a very fair price. Lunch items are ok and reasonably priced also.

I got a late start and hit Mama's before 7 AM . When I arrived I noticed a lincoln police officer dining and it was moderately busy but I grabbed a booth near the window and was issued a pleasant greeting by a local sitting nearby. I ordered a typical breakfast of 2 eggs toast, potatoes (not hash browns) and bacon.... More

The place looks a little old and run down, but this dive served some of the best pancakes and bacon that I've had out in some time. The food was all cooked perfectly and tasted great. I had the papas special. Breakfasted served until 1:30pm. The coffee was also very good. If I am ever back in lincoln for breakfast... More

There were 5 of us and we ended up in a back room. The waitress twice gave us badly chipped cups, which she then switched out. My breakfast sandwich had two eggs on it and was a pretty good size! Service was okay. The food was good -typical breakfast fare except for the "panwich" which turned out to be a... More

Rode to Lincoln, IL for a delicious breakfast at an old establishment. Busy little "cafe" but didn't sloe service. Friendly staff and great food for a very reasonable price. I had the "stackers" #9 on the menu: biscuits meat eggs smothered in gravey enough food for more than one... But I managed :) ...enjoy!

Tables booths very uncomfortable. Food is sub par. Place looks like it could use a good scrubbing. The food was very greasy. Staff unfriendly.

My darlin and I went to Lincoln EARLY to see the hot air balloons lift off this morning. After chasing the balloons for I while we felt peckish and went to Mama's Arcade Cafe. What a good choice. Admittedly I am a sucker for this kind of place as I grew up going to diners on county squares. But this... More
