Home cooking in a restaurant at its best! My favorite is the roast pork with the sauerkraut and dumplings. The apple pancakes with sour cream or applesauce are outstanding just like mama made.

Outstanding drinks and food. I had the crispy pork shank with red cabbage and German potato salad. My wife had veal cutlet with gravy, mashed potato and red cabbage. Everything delicious. I had a bottle of hoegaarden beer that you can't find too many places....More

I enjoyed the Special of the Day Sunday which was a ghoulash, slow cooked pork loin that was very tender and delicious cooked with sauerkraut, riesling and paprika and cream though this dish was not at all heavy or overly spiced. Just richtig! Zehr gut.

So this place sort of reminds me of a German hunting lodge. I showed up in casual attire while on a work trip, and I felt right at home. They have a wide selection of German and Belgian beers, many of which aren't readily available...More

Moderately Priced, friendly atmosphere, excellent food. The seating is not too crowded and comfortable. Parking can be a challenge at peak times.
