The service and food is terrific! Omelette was delicious and the crepes perfect! We all thought it was a great place for breakfast. Definitely a good idea for a family meal with cleanliness and quality!

My wife and I went there for a Saturday breakfast with her brother and his wife. Between the four of us we ordered eggs, crepes, french toast, and pancakes. everything was prepared as we expected. Our server was cheerful and efficient. An ejoyable experience.

Group of six stopped by while driving in the area. We had no idea but there were several cars in the lot we that is usually a good sign. Very pleasant server and a wide breakfast menu. Best breakfast skillet I have ever had. Corned Beef with amazing home fries topped with cheese. Included pancakes. Huge portions and reasonable prices.... More

We stopped on a sunday morning for breakfast. The restaurant was packed which is a good sign. We were seated quickly. Service was a bit slow but the menu was large. The place is clean and welcoming. Our food came quickly and everyone enjoyed everything. They do a nice job on their food. Large portions and good flavors. There is... More

My "go to" breakfast place when I don't know what I want. The place has a lot of neighborhood charm. The staff is very attentive and the food is good. It seems like I can always get a table quickly. Dinner is good, but breakfast shines.

This is typical of the Greek owned family restaurants in the Chicago area, reasonable food at reasonable prices. The variability is usually in the service, as is the case here, sometimes great, sometimes marginal. But for a good reasonably priced breakfast you can't beat it.

Stopped here for breakfast because I needed some variety. As I entered the restaurant, I faintly smelled the 1970's when smoking was permitted in restaurants. The waitress was pleasant and kept the coffee going. The breakfast was plentiful and good tasting. It could use updating, but why? If the food is good and the service is pleasant - why ruin... More

Looking for a restaurant in the area that we have not been to, found Maxfield's on line. It is a typical family style restaurant that we usually enjoy, so we compared it with so many others that are similar. Well, have to say that we were a bit disappointed. When I ask for water with no ice, I think that... More

Discovered a quarter size chicken bone in the Greek panini after just three bites. Server asked if I wanted the rest of my panini or entirely new panini. Declined both. The server went to the manager and told her what happened then proceeded to bring us our check. Manager, Sally, didn't take the panini off the check. When asked why... More
