I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. I have read some of the reviews that aren't very nice and I don't feel they give the correct feedback. The food is plentiful and delicious, it is great hearty food...and the desserts are to die for, not to mention the stunning scenery it is definitely out of this world. Over the years it just gets better and now with covid they have adapted with takeaway and I understand they are closed for some refurnishments but can imagine it will just be as good as before if not better. Staff are always lovely and stop for a chat which i personally love might not be to everyone's taste but this is the Irish way and I think it just adds to the overall delight of the laragh lodgeMore

I have eaten in here a few times in last 6 months, once last Sept and once in December and I absolutely love it. It has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly and helpful and they have done everything possible to make it covid...secure. Both times I have combined my visit with a walk up Glenarriff via the waterfalls which is just stunning. The food is excellent, I would highly recommend the cauliflower starter and the apple crumble dessert. The salmon and chicken dishes were excellent and the portions are good old fashioned farmer's style (plentiful). I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Unfortunately I don't live close enough to get a take away but am looking forward to another visit when things open up again.More

Maybe the first I've been since March with the covid scare. Take away only at minute and I had my usual Turkey and Ham. Eating it in the car just affed to the fun. And first class as always.

Arrived at 12 noon for Sunday lunch thinking we’ll get lovely fresh lunch...boy were we wrong. Soup to start...meant to be potato and leek. Think it may have just been watery potatoes. So bland. Ordered turkey and ham. Meat was dried out, the gravy couldn’t...save it. Nearly needed to wash each mouthful down with water. Wife ordered chicken goujons...they came overcooked, with a handful of chips and a dip in a paper pot like McDonalds. Not even a salad garnish. Do not be fooled by the mouth watering pics online. One toilet in use for the whole restaurant...so there was a queue each time. Men, woman, kids, elderly all waiting on one toilet, having to dodge out of the way of waiters...hard to keep a social distance. We’ve eaten here before and I was in shock at how bad the food was. Hopefully this was just a bad day...More

My wife and i stopped here after a walk to the waterfall. We were welcomed into the restaurant by a polite young man and shown to our table. After providing us with menus and a drink the waitress took our order. The food was lovely and...the waitress who said she was from Canada was very friendly. The establishment is very Covid aware and the appropriate precautions were taken to ensure customer safety. Over all a very pleasant visit and we will be back.More

A very lovely stop off for lunch on 17th would really consider an evening meal in the future. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and it was a lovely place to visit when at Glenariff, will definately recommend

Very limited vegetarian options. Only main was the chilli. Very bland and tasteless. The more I think about it it was probably from a tin, the pita bread was certainly Tesco bought and not even warm, couldn’t manage more than two bites of it. Considering...it was £14 it was a let down. Staff member completely uninterested in my feedback, didn’t bother to try to respond. Will not be back and would not recommend.More

I’ve been going to Laragh Lodge for a few years and never once have I had a bad meal. Then a few weeks ago I had my wedding there and once again it did not disappoint. Gary, Monica, and the staff did everything to make...the day perfect and were so accommodating to all of our wishes. As the weather was good we were even able to have the ceremony outside at the waterfall. And of course the food was delicious as always. So whether it’s for a meal or a function I cannot recommend Laragh Lodge enough. It’s a great establishment in a fantastic setting.More

After being so rudely pushed away in the joke of if a coffee shop in Glenariffe, we found the real jewel of the glen. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming to our arrival and there was no issue with the ‘payment method’ as there was...in the Glenariffe coffee shop. Overall food and service was lovely with a great view of the waterfalls right beside the restaurant. All the customers looked very happy compared to the one family looking miserable in Glenariffe coffee shop.More

We held a small intimate wedding at Laragh Lodge, the venue could not have been more perfect. We had an outdoor ceremony by the waterfall, with a meal set up inside the private room inside the restaurant. The surroundings make for a lovely venue and...stunning backdrop for photographs. Gary, Monica and the whole team at Laragh Lodge could not have done anything more for us from initial enquiries, all the planning, the setup and the day itself, they made everything so easy for us. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. The food was perfect, as it has been any time we have visited Laragh Lodge. We had the most perfect day and can not recommend a wedding at Laragh Lodge enough. Thank you so much!!More
