The shop is clean. The staff is very polite and friendly. You cannot go wrong. Please choose this place for desserts. There are many different kinds of flavors that you will be amazed by the varieties.

After passing the Village Creamery on the corner of Oakton & Waukegan my wife wanted to try it. I am lactose intoleramt so my interest is minimal. My wife enjoyed the Purple Yam ice cream. The service was very nice. If you are in the area, stop and try the selections offered.

I get a sappy smile on my face just thinking about the flavours -- Thai tea, lemon grass, mango, lychee, avocado, buko pandan, durian, queso, adzuki red bean, hibiscus, halo halo, etc. My new summer favourite is sapin-sapin .... a truly amazing combination of ube (a sweet purple yam) , jackfruit (which, when I see it in an Asian grocery... The first Avocado Ice cream I ever had was home made by a Filipino, been looking for avocado for the longest time, finally found it at the Village Creamery along with Ube, the two together are the best... Had several other flavors and several different cones, they are all good...the service is great and always has a great crowd of... More

Located on the northwest corner of Waukegan Rd. and Oakton St., the Village Creamery is located in a small strip mall. There is parking and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a number of very different Asian flavored ice creams which they will serve as scoops, sundaes or shakes. We decided to try the maiz ice cream... More

This is a Filipino ice cream parlor with both classic American flavors and unique ethnic flavors. They are happy to let you taste as many as you like -- traditional or exotic. My companion and I must have tried six or seven samples between us before we made our selections -- everything was really, really good. The neon colours are... More

This small ice cream facility is popular with the neighborhood crowd. They offer some very unique ice cream flavors. The bubble shakes are quite tasty. A bit crowded during the summer months there is some seating available outside.

Please everyone with this ice cream. If someone wants cookies n cream or vanilla, they have it. I'm all about the unique flavors such as Burgandy Cherry or Buko Pandam (made with pandam leaf & shreds of young coconut). They are happy to offer tasting samples of their ice creams. I don't think the butter fat content is as high... More

Okay, I've only been to the location on Oakton in Skokie, but this is mine and my kids' favorite ice cream destination anywhere. They are suckers for the purple Ube ice cream, and I certainly couldn't disagree... but... there are so...many...other... delicious...options. Are you kidding me?! Who else can take a putrid, stanky Durian and make it taste all creamy,... More
