My wife and I were married at Allgauer's many years ago, and so for Valentine's Day this year, we thought we'd revisit the place to see what's changed and enjoy a trip down memory lane. We arrived around 12:30 for lunch and were seated immediately....More

How wonderful to have such a good restaurant onsite! We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners here. Always something good! Service is attentive.

This buffet has very good choices - the usual Thanksgiving offerings plus breakfast items and seafood. Lots of desserts too, including a chocolate fountain. Mimosas are offered freely. I would have given it 5 stars except for the whole berry cranberry sauce which had a...More

Attached to the Hilton Northbrook. Slow service when busy and food is passable but not beyond the norm for restaurant food. In other words, there are other better options in Northbrook town, but not bad for in-house cuisine if you have no other options available.

We have only been on Sunday champagne brunch. Lots of salmon and salads, some meats if you're into that. Dessert station just okay, they have changed their desserts in the past few years and we think the cakes are pre-ordered frozen desserts. BUT there is...More

We always choose Allgauer's because its a mid point for 6 of us coming from 6 different suburbs. It's become an annual event and we truly enjoy the service, food and prices. Staff allows us to sit and enjoy our lunch, offering coffee refills, taking...More

So, if you travel and stay at Hilton properties, you'll recognize this breakfast buffet, but here you have to pay $15 for it. It's even lacking many things that are included at other Hilton properties. They do offer menu service, I'd give that a once...More

This is not a restaurant we normally go to. We went because we had a gift certificate. Please note that if you are at this hotel, you would have no clue as to where to find a restaurant as it almost seems to be in...More

The easiest is to take 294 to Willow rd. Go west on Willow rd and take a left onto Sanders Rd by the BP station. Take a right onto Winkleman and the hotel is just a few blocks up on the right.
