Until 3pm every day you can have amazing food at Childer's Eatery. Whether you are craving breakfast, lunch or dinner, it is always an option for you. Their portions are just right to hit the spot and it a small punch on the wallet. This location is my favorite for sure! Beware, they are almost always poppin! Busy, busy, busy,... More

Biscuits and gravy are the best I have ever had. They have a great flavor. Definitely going to come back again. Will be telling friends and family about here.

This Place is the Best! Great Service. My favorite Server. Nicole Tankersley. A real Pro. She does a real fine Job. My fort day back here after a real bad storm Did damage to roof and ceiling. Ed Childers had this fixed fast. It's March Madness here in Peoria. People like to come here. This is an American Resterante and... More

We were in town on business and stumbled upon this place which made our morning. Childers is clean, bright, friendly and the food is great. The breakfast menu pleases everyone and the quality is solid. If you start your day here you will not be disappointed.

Based on the reviews & menu we decided to try Childers while in Peoria. We became skeptical when the table behind us had to send a plate back. Sure enough we had a raw hamburger & barely warm Benedict. We did not hesitate to send both back. In the meantime a waitress spilled a drink on another gentlemen's coat. Neither... More

The food (we had breakfast) at Childers is fresh, well made, pretty (yes, I said pretty), and taste so good!!! If you're in Peoria you MUST go to Childers.. the parking lot is not big, but it's SO worth it!

Two menus: breakfast or lunch and both were inventive, with sweet and savory options for breakfast and creative savory items for lunch. I was so pleased with my wonderful healthy option that was a nice surprise of a superfood Benedict! Quinoa cake and poached eggs with braised kale was perfect for my restricted meal plan while my family had sous... More

This restaurant is worth a stop. The cheerful modern decor and great service with fresh flowers on the tables, a variety of coffee creamers, a specialty coffee, one of the most interesting breakfast menus, and great food warrants it as a new breakfast destination even if it is 90 miles from home. A variety of eggs Benedict options caught my... More

Wide variety of interesting and reasonably priced breakfast items. The photo provided on this entry says it all. This is my type of restaurant and I look forward to dining here again.
