Went after a visit to Starved Rock and glad we did! Very evident that the staff took pride in their diner and made sure everything was well prepared and to our liking. Root beer is a must! Well worth a visit!

Awesome place! I run into people all over who know if the igloo & the famous porks! Only complaint is prices went up when I was in here last & porks got smaller! Other than that - still great food & service!!!

The Igloo opened on the 4th of July in 1937. The fact that this simple restaurant has been a landmark in the area since 1937 tells the story. Simple, good food. Great prices. FANTASTIC pork tenderloin!
