There are no pictures for a reason. The atmosphere is dark and depressing. The service was slow and inattentive. My BLT sorely lacked bacon, tasted only mayo and the bread was smashed. Lemon pie was okay. Husband ordered a burger and it was okay, also. Second trip to Pontiac and we both wished we had returned to Edinger's Filling Station.... More
Lunch is good and save room for the pie. A tip: order pie when ordering lunch and have them set the slice to the side because you could miss out on what you wanted. It goes fast.
OK, this is very important.... they are well know for their pies- my first time there, the first words out of my parents mouths were "what kind of pie today?" I was like, "wait shouldn't we order lunch first?" but, oh no! I was told you have to get your pie order in first, before all the good slices are... More
We ate an excellent breakfast: biscuits of the biscuits and gravy were very fresh, enjoyed the egg sandwich on an English muffin, and American fries with onions.good food. Food was served hot. Service was good as was the coffee.
My husband and I had some time to kill between softball games at the rec plex. There isn't a Starbucks or Dunkin in Pontiac, so I thought I would try this place. What a great find! My latte was great. It's a full service coffee bar and restaurant. Our omlet ' s were great and our service was very good.... More

Pontiac is a bit of a tourist town, but both locals and tourists eat at the Appletree in the morning. Take a look at the pictures hung... More
Family run establishment, very friendly folks! Home cooked meals and scratch made pies. You're not going to get an over-sized portion of anything here, but you will get a good meal for a good price.
If you want a great burger, this is the place! My husband loves the "Indian Burger" but their cheeseburger is my favorite. The place is usually packed with locals so that is a good sign.
