Went on a Sunday for drinks and food. Great outside space with views. Beer is always good. Food great value and choices. Friendly staff eager to please. Give this pub a try and support it.

Fantastic pub, dog friendly. Huge selection of crafted ales. Recently refurbished outside beer garden that backs onto Bollington Rec. Great local pub!

Went on the brewery tour and then meal. The meal was pie and chips but very tasty and properly done. Hand cut chips. Sticky toffee pudding to follow. All straightforwardly basic. Highlight must be the beer itself which is excellent. Surroundings inside the pub are single roman hard floor - quite retro! But it is comfortable enough and quite cosy.

First rate. Simple food, good local beers. The prices are most reasonable, too. Beers brewed locally. It would be good to have a old fashioned mild sleep, though.

It's not some ghastly gastro pub, but an honest, modern alehouse serving first rate food, some British (Gammon egg and chips - yum) and some international (curries, chillis). Pleasant atmosphere. Good local beers (where's the mild ale, guys) and overall most reasonable prices.

This is my kind of place. The pub itself had excellent character, it's not a big place but I loved the quirkiness of it all, it's exactly what you expect in a village pub. The fire going, papers on the side, the friendly atmosphere....if I lived near there it would be my local. Food is excellent, beers were good (wish... More

Great array of beers from their own brewery, plus a good menu of food - I kept it simple with pie, chips and mushy peas, all of which was solid pub grub. But they also do daily specials and quite a variety of food. Service was very attentive and efficient. It's a basic pub interior, by no means fine dining,... More

Fantastic place:nicely decorated and superb service by the friendly staff. The place is strategically situated and within a few minutes of many natural attractions. Good to be back in touch with Nature!

Me and my boyfriend visited the Vale on 11th Feb. We were amazed by the quality of food and the service given with it. The girl behind the bar showed excellent customer service, getting our drinks to us in a flash and with a warm friendly smile. I then ordered a lasagne that came to us in no time! It... More
