Their lunch special combo, I think for $6, is a really great deal, large amount of meat and rice, but I would ask them to skip the chicken breast (too dry).

The food is Mediterranean fare (not hot or spicy they give you the sauce if you want it spicy). Everyone says the Falafels are the best, to me they are very good. Place is very busy but ordering and getting the food is not a problem. I agree with previous reviewer, customers can be a pushy. Seating can be a... More

I have been going to Pita Inn for almost thirty years. It is THE. BEST. FALAFEL. EVER. Also the best hot sauce!!! Their hummus and baba are also tops. At the end of the day, if you don't love Pita Inn, there is something seriously wrong with you.

We've been eating at Pita Inn since the Skokie restaurant was their only location. Then we "moved" to the Wheeling location when they opened there because it was closer to home. Now we go to the Glenview site because it's very close to our shopping area. We always plan shopping around lunch. The "Business Lunch" on weekdays is a bargain,... More

a good place to go for a quick, inexpensive meal..the only drawback is that the ordering and pick up area is confusing and disorganized...be prepared for patrons to be pushy and careless regarding who is first...

I have been going to all of the Pita Inn restaurants (Wheeling, Skokie, and Glenview) for the past 16 years. We bring it home for dinner about 1x/month. I love going to the Skokie restaurant because I get containers of baba ghanoush, hummus, and tabouleh and eat that for the rest of the week for breakfast and lunch. I also... More

We at work get carry-outs from this lunch spot frequently. Favorites include the business lunch special, the beef shwarma pita sandwich and the vegetarian plate. The food is always well prepared, tasty and plentiful. Recommended for all. Sit-down space is amply available, but at lunch time the crowd makes it acoustically annoying. Carryout orders are filled quickly and they take... More

As fast food goes this place is really good. The food is really flavorful without relying on a lot of fat or grease.

We came to Pita Inn only to find that Pita Inn has moved to 4710 W. Dempster St. (approximately eight blocks west). There is a new restaurant that is going in at this address of 3910 Dempster St., though it is not yet open.

I love to try new Middle Eastern restaurants, this place is different, clean , spacious , high ceiling , very nice decorated, and food is really good. I had some Chicken and lamb kababs , it's all good with generous portions, I will defiantly try again when I am in the area.
