What a great place. We ate outside and the food was great. We had 12 in our party and nothing but great food. We were very pleased, it started raining so we went inside for dessert. We asked the waiter to bring out the chef and we applauded him.

We asked around and learned that Santa Marta was less touristy than Varadero and more reasonably priced so we arranged a car and took lunch at this little spot. We were not disappointed, food was excellent, prices were reasonable, drinks were well made, overall a very nice spot to spend a couple of hours or an afternoon. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy local food and drinks.

Highly recommend.
Great drinks, flavourful food, lots of menu options, amazing service.
We were staying at an all inclusive in varadero and had fairly low expectations for food on and off resort.
Atlantida exceeded any expectations we could have had.
The vegetable quesadillas (more like traditional tacos) were amazing and had us return 2 days in a row.
All staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to the language barrier.
If you aren’t fluent in Spanish, I recommend looking up some menu items first as the menu is a bit overwhelming with no descriptions or photos.
Everything was extremely reasonably priced!! We had dinner for 4, with drinks & apps for approx $100 cad.
Could not recommend this place more.

Last year we loved Atlantida, this year, we wouldn’t recommend it. The highlight this year was our raspberry daquiris (sadly, when we tried to order a second they were “out”). Our dinners were unremarkable and overpriced. I got pork instead of the beef I ordered, which wasn’t remedied so left still hungry. We ate inside and moved to the patio after dinner, the cervesa we ordered never did come so we left and met our friends down the road at the ice cream place instead.

Atlantida is a short trip from Veradero town and really worth it. Service was great, food was way above the most of the restaurants we tried in Varadero and the cocktails were amazing. Not everything in the menu was available but most things were and what was was really good quality. Croquettes were really good. Prices super reasonable and staff were great even though we didn’t speak Spanish well

Great Restaurant, little known to tourists and very good dishes. As for the addition, it is more than correct. The four of us paid around €82. This included aperitifs (4 each), tapas and dishes. In Varadero, we probably would have paid double. But you have to add the price of the AR taxi (from Varadero) which is €25.

spot in Santa Marta very hard to find but nice atmosphere. Service is not great food was good not great and very expensive for Cuba and in us dollars. They took us to the cleaners on the exchange using Canadian.Not worth the price or agravation

I decided to go out for breakfast one morning and after reading reviews this was my choice. The breakfast was good and I had eggs, bacon, toast and friut with coffee. I think it was around 5 pesos. A few days later , I came and it was also good but they did not have bacon that day which is not their fault. It was made up for and very good. Try it and you will not be dissapointed . There are not too many in Santa Marta .

A lovely friendly bar/restaurant in the little town of Santa Marta (close to Varadero and the airport). You can sit outdoors or enjoy the modern and air conditioned interior. There's a good variety of dishes available, and the food is excellent. Great smiley service too, and many local people dining there. A far cry from the big hotels on the peninsula.

Went for dinner and drinks here with my friend and we had an absolutely amazing time. The staff was friendly and quick, the food was delicious and the drink selection was abundant! I will definitely be back next time I visit Santa Marta!!!

This restaurant is clean and has a great menu and was a short walk from our Casa Cuba among Cubans, went here for our drinks when no one else had them in this terrible world of COVID-19 😷.
Recommend going into Santa Marta if you are staying on Varadero for some local vibes and warm friendly people.

Llegamos por la tarde con la intención de paras un rato en el lugar y pedimos una pila colada, 2 líneas de vodka y un jugo de piña pero ( y no somos personas exigentes ni extremistas) nada fue como lo pedimos. Primero el jugo de piña tenía más agua que una presa y no sabía a nada. La piña colada era cualquier cosa menos la típica bebida tan rica. Y tercero que fue lo más molesto resultó que en ves de traer 2 líneas de vodka la mujer que nos atendió nos trajo dos vasos largos de vodka con hielo y agua llenos hasta arriba entonces llamamos a la muchacha( alta y con iluminaciones en el pelo) para explicarle que eso no era lo que habíamos pedido, entonces la muchacha regreso con los mismos vasos y la misma bebida solo que con un poco menos y sin hielo como si fuéramos tontos turistas. Entonces la llamamos una ves más y explicamos a lo que ella asintió y retiro solo la bebida de quién había hablado y regreso con un vaso con muy mala gana. Entonces quiero que se den cuenta y valoren más al turismo que les da de comer a sus hijos y los viste.

Начну с того , что мы совсем не привередливые люди, и чаще всего нам все нравится даже с маленькими нюансами . В этом баре мы заказали пинья колада, 2 рюмки водки и ананасовый сок. Принесли два стакана водки с водой и льдом до краёв ,сок так же разведённый с водой. Попросили поменять водку в итоге принесли чуть меньше , просто убрав лёд со стакана, но так же разведённую с водой. В конечном итоге , мы попросили поменять третий раз, девушка с не довольным, даже озлобленным и раздраженным лицом, принесла наконец-то одну рюмку водки, поменяв напиток только мне, игнорируя других за столом. Очень не рекомендую данное заведение.
We have arrived in the afternoon with the intention of stopping by for a while , and enjoy out time . We have ordered piña colada 2 shots of vodka and a pineapple juice. (We are not demanding people by any means. )
The pineapple juice has been watered down to the point where I couldn't taste the juice. The piña colada was anything but the typical delicious drink. And third, which was the most outrageous thing , it turned out that instead of bringing 2 shots of vodka the lady who attended us brought us two tall glasses of vodka with ice and water filled to the top. We have called the lady to explain better our order and that this was not what we have asked for. The lady returned with the same glasses and the same drink only now with no ice and smaller quantity. We called her one more time and have asked to change the drinks as it didn't taste nothing like vodka. She reluctantly took one glass away , and had returned it with a very irritated face , ignoring the second glass of vodka and juice . In comparison, the new glass of vodka tasted stronger than the watered down version . Unfortunately , we couldn't recommend this place nor the service of this place.
