This is a wonderful cafe. Given that it is attached to a museum, the selection of food is terrific. We opted for a jacket potato for our lunch and we were both defeated by the generous plateful! In my opinion, the prices are reasonable too. If I am ever in the area again, I will make the effort to have... More

We have been here many times, even when we are not visiting the museum, because it is a great cafe. Plenty of seating, friendly staff, good service and great food. What else could you want!

Cold chilly day walking around the museum. Lovely to come into the warm cafe for coffee and a light lunch. Lots of food selection, quick service, cheerful staff. Will definately pop back in the summer, will be lovely to sit outside.

For a museum this is a very, very good cafeteria with home cooked meals and desserts ... or just tea and cakes. Very nice atmosphere filled with like-minded individuals to chat with.

Such an extensive menu of good old favourites mixed with simple honest food. Burgers and chips, sandwiches, panini, cauliflower cheese, all day breakfast etc..plus great homemade cakes and scones. Good, friendly service. Really well presented food. A great place to stop off and enjoy a break.

My son and I visited the two museums on-site, This cafe has a large selection of interesting, and I'm sure delicious food. Our food was delicious. We had a quick bite on arrival and after our museum visits we returned for lunch. We would recommend eating here as part of a day or half-day at the museums. Don't bother leaving... More

Often stop here for nibbles, tea, coffee or cake. We like to sit outside on a sunny day as this is a sun trap. If you have to sit inside it is till very pleasant. It's nice to watch the helicopters buzz over from time to time. The food is good, tasty and the cakes are often made on site.... More
