I had been craving Turkish food for awhile and was happy to see that there was an option within walking distance of our hotel on Walnut. Greeted warmly by the staff and owner upon entering. Nice atmosphere with both traditional and modern eating setups. We chose the traditional and sat on the cushions. Food selection was fairly diverse and we... More

Cute place with hanging beads. You can sit at tables or on the floor on rugs amongst pillows. Food - plates of humus, baba ganoush and absolutely melt in your mouth flat bread. Hot bowls of lamb, eggplant, etc were tasty. It was a memorable evening for the craziest things - waitress knocked over a bottle of Turkish soda, and... More

My boyfriend and me went to Turkuaz earlier and we always liked it, but since the management changed, we LOVE it! The restaurant looks really nice, the service is amazing and so fast, and we always feel great!

Poor parking options but so worth an extra trip around the block. We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated quickly. The food was fresh and quite tasty. The prices are good. Great value. Enjoy!

Dining at Turkuaz Cafe is an absolutely fantastic experience. The food is delicious and fresh. The wait staff is polite and prompt. The owner took the time to stop for conversation and thanked us for our business. we will definitely be going back very soon!

This was a nice change of pace while visiting my daughter in Bloomington. We shared several dishes, tapas style, and we found them all to be delicious. I would have loved to know ahead of time that this was a BYOB restaurant, because a glass of wine would have been perfect with this meal. We will definitely go again.

The only place in town where you can sit on rugs, turkish style. No wine list but bringing in your own bottle is fine. Generous portions, extensive menu, nice variety of food. We've traveled in Turkey; this is not as good as fresh turkish food but it's close.

We love Turkuaz! The food is really delicious, probably the best Turkish food I've had including restaurants in major cities. Complimentary lentil soup is really tasty and sets a generous tone. The establishment itself is charming and feels warm and friendly, proprietor clearly invested in providing fantastic dining in a very personal way. This is a small and unique place,... More

Our first trip for an anniversary dinner although I've passed it for years and followed the trip advisor ratings to visit. Loved the babaganoush on puffed pastry. My husband had the Lamb Turkuaz kabob (which is like a stew). Very moist and flavorful I had a combo pide that was flaky, hot and yummy. The red lentil soup was outstanding... More
