Had to be seated up stairs as one of our group was under 21. This was not bad except our server split his time between both floors. As such the service was very slow. All 4 meals were unimpressive. 2 had the over cooked lamb burger. 1 had a very dry corned beef dinner. And I had the lamb stew... More

My family of 4 went in for lunch on Black Friday. The place was warm and inviting although a little 'dated' on decor even with Irish 'old world' theme. They do have some very reasonable lunch specials with a good variety. Their regular menu has a huge selection of food items along with beers, cocktails and wine. Our group started... More

Went here for fish and chips. Can't complain about the service, it was really good. But, my fish and chips were served without mushy, or any sort of peas. And no lemon slice or tartare sauce!!!! My companions who ordered burgers enjoyed theirs though.

Very cool environment, classic Irish pub décor, great draft beer selection, varied menu and price points. Good food.

Love the pochin and beers. When it comes to food, it is very average. They need to do a better job with the menu. However, I like their deserts. The atmosphere and the service is nice.

Lots of items on menu but everything we had was just blah. Tried three appetizers. Mussels were bone dry and tasted like liver, served with greasy yellow liquid on the side (butter?). If they weren't spoiled they were just prepared horribly. Brie was okay and fruit nicely prepared. I had fish & chips, looked and tasted like thin catfish fillets... More

Hello Bryhof, thank you for your feedback. The mussels are flown-in fresh from Prince Edward Island, Canada - certainly, they were not prepared correctly during your visit if they were dry. We are sorry for that experience and hope that you had an opportunity to bring the preparation of the mussels to your server’s attention. The “yellow liquid” served with... More

This is an older building, with lots of hard surfaces, but the noise level was such that our party of three literally could not hear one another. We were led (steep steps) to the upper level and should immediately have asked for downstairs as the noise was unacceptable. Food was good, beer was excellent, server was very nice but had... More

We met with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughters here for lunch. With ample seating upstairs, we practically had the entire dining area to ourselves. Our server, a student at Indiana University, was very pleasant and informative. She mentioned that this place was built about 1872 -- or so -- and had been a house where men would come to relax,... History is good. Stay downstairs for best ambiance, but then all patrons have to be 21+. Great steaks!!
