This should have been better. I wanted it to be better. Run by a Thai couple from the Isan region and 35 years in the U.S. The atmosphere is quaint if dated. The guy knows the entree order numbers by heart. I decided on Pad Thai, and was disappointed. I ordered non-spicy (as the dish should be: I lived in... More

Thai Castle is a great place in a small and cozy location. Thai Castle has endured all the endless Carmel construction both on Rangeline and also across the street between their location the United Methodist Church across the street. The reason they survived is because the food is superb. In addition to the food being cooked fresh many of the... More

I had Pad Thai Chicken with medium heat. I'd probably be fine going with out any heat. It was delicious. The Hot and Sour soup was very good. I enjoyed my meal enough to tell my family we should plan to have lunch together. The staff was very friendly also.

We tried out this location for lunch as we wanted to check out their Pad Thai Noodles. We arrived at about noon and they started to get busy shortly after our arrival. No wonder, the lunch menu offered choices from $6.95 - $8.95 which included the main course plus 2 sides such as soup and spring roll. I had chicken... More

I have been doing a lot of business lately in Carmel/North Indy - and had read about Thai Castle on TA - so I gave it a try for a solo dinner on a business dinner during a Tuesday overnight in the neighborhood. My son and I had enjoyed a spectacular trip to Thailand in June 2016 - and I... More

Coming from Asia and sampling the food, there's obviously a lot which is different. Nonetheless, I'd say that the food offering was still a welcome change. Enjoyed the Fried Rice best and the "Tom Yum" at least injected some spice into our meals. Service was friendly and prompt. Decor was basic and functional. Bossman is also a real character.

You do not go to Thai Castle for the ambiance. You go because they have great food at a very affordable price, and you can always get in or order take out. If you like Thai food, and you are in Carmel, you should definitely give it a try. The restaurant is very authentic. It feels like you are in... More

This is the type of place you stumble into because it's convenient and leave being genuinely delighted by the experience. The restaurant inside is decked out in an array of tchotchkes but it somehow works. Extensive menu, wonderful server and good food. I had duck with garlic that had nice flavor though could have gone hotter. Friend had Pad Thai... More

My husband and I had takeout from here today and loved it. We had the chicken pad Thai and red curry beef. Both were good, the only room for improvement would be more spice for the pad Thai. We will definately be back. The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely. The owner is entertaining and genuinely cares about the... More
