Food was okay. Not great. Service was slow. Based on my one visit, I’m not sure why there are so many cars in the parking lot. I can think of a dozen others restaurants I’d visit before going here again.

I work in a medical office where we regularly have lunch brought in by drug reps. We request Chubby Trout often as most of us are sushi lovers. The food is always very good. Not the "best" sushi around, but definitely top 5. My only...More

Chubby Trout looks like it would be a horrifying Chili's, Applebee's, or similar restaurant, but it is actually not bad. They have a number of dishes with seared ahi tuna that they claim is flown in from Hawaii that are quite good. Very good service.

This place does food right! From the crab dip to start and walleye, blackened perch, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, baked potato...all greatly cooked and very tasty! And if you have room, you have to have some carrot cake served with vanilla ice cream.

Great beer, interesting menu, friendly waiters & waitresses. Easy to get to from the highway exit and within walking distance from several hotels. Has that local feel, very casual.

Chubby is such a cool place. The new location is rustic and has a great vibe. The staff is friendly and service is always prompt and professional. From the sushi to steak, the food is delicious and incredible. It’s highly recommended for anything you’re craving.

Great place for sushi and craft beer. Family business, locally owned. Nice big room for large party.

The beer selection was decent but mostly dominated by IPAs. I get it. This is the age of IPAs and they're playing to the crowd. We had a new waitress but she did a solid job. In fact, all of the wait staff seemed to...More

Regularly meet a friend of mine for lunch here. Menu specials are always changing. Had an almond chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries yesterday. Cam Snyder is the owner and brews his own beers offsite at his newly acquired brewery in Michigan. Monday nights are...More

Description
Upscale food but casual atmosphere located in the middle of the motels off 80/90 toll road. From hand pattied burgers to black angus sirloin and filet mignon. Walleye, lake perch, blue gill and salmon to a full sushi bar! 20 beers on tap specializing in local hand crafted micro brews. Great little wine list. It's where the locals and the business travelers meet. Great bar atmosphere!
