If you like beer, especially beer served in a building that appears to be a hardware store from the 1850's, you gotta try this place! Very very cool

Love the atmosphere, at one time it was an old hardware store. Most nights there is a wait so get there early you won't be disappointed

This place has great german and american food and the best beer selection in Evansville. Also, its a remodeled old hardware store and the original decor was kept this makes it feel like and pub right out of Germany

They always have something new on tap for the beer lover. They also have excellent food. Even the bologna sandwich is great, pepper jack cheese with thick cut bologna. All there other food is good too. Try the chicken tortilla soup on Wednesday's.

I really do wonder where the German went. I tried a variety of items here most of more pretty bland. I did find one thing on Wednesdays they have a tortilla soup which is very good. They told me that the tortilla soup tends to sell out early. So if anything at all I would suggest to tortilla soup on... More

There are hundreds of beers on tap, wonderful drink specials, and the best German food you're going to find in Southern Indiana! I recommend the German fries, kraut balls, and the schnitzel but everything I've ever tried here has been absolutely delicious. It is a bit pricey for some of the dishes, but it's well worth the money!

I am not sure what all the raves are about. The food quality wasn't there and the service was the best part of the meal. I don't recommend it.

I visit here weekly for lunch and I'm never let down. Great place to go and enjoy great food and cold beer for lunch or dinner.

I came here based off of reviews on here. It won't disappoint. Yes it's a little more than your typical blah restaurants but well worth it. The sauerbraten and red cabbage was delicious!! Portion size was big as well with mashed potatoes. Craig was a great and friendly server. Well done and great choice for Evansville.

This is a wonderful, old German restaurant on the west side of town. Sauerbraten is difficult to find, but it's here, and delicious.
