I stopped in at 8:30am before the typical Sunday rush. My timing was perfect as I beat the crowd. After waiting for close to two minutes for a hostess to greet and seat me, I was finally greeted by a hostess who really didn't want to be there and "greeted" is a severe overstatement; no smile, no "hello" or "good... I went in for dinner and ordered a Big Boy burger and the soup and salad bar. I was pleasantly surprised that the salad bar had the best crab salad on it. It also had 2 types of soup, 2 types of salad, fresh fruit, etc. The hamburger was delicious, but not needed as the salad bar was so filling.... More

Stopped in for a morning breakfast on Sunday and the place was packed. The breakfast buffet was a hot item for a lot of people but I personally thought $9.50 was a bit much. I had 3 eggs, hash browns, toast, and bacon and everything was great for $5.45. My wife had French toast and bacon. Everything was very good... More

In my opinion this is NOT a great value. Although the price is reasonable the lack of choices on the bar is quite limited. Probably try something else!

Thank you for your review. Just not quite sure what you mean by a lack of choices. Besides having all of the topping you could ask for to put on your salad, we also have fresh fruits which include fresh cut pineapple, honeydew, and cantaloupe, along with a wonderful crab salad, cottage cheese, puddings, fruit yogurt, pudding, jello, and 2... I have eaten at "Big Boy" restaurants for many years in several states. The waitress here was friendly. My friend and I placed our orders. My friend ordered pancakes with blueberries. The waitress asked if she wanted the blueberries on top of the pancakes or in the pancakes. My friend said in the pancakes. Her pancakes were so hard and... More

I am sorry about your experience. I was made aware of your visit when I came in later that day. My biggest concern is that my manager talked with you and apologized for anything that had gone wrong. All of the food had been eaten, and my manager offered you a 20% discount for our errors and you accepted that.... More

Went through the drive-up window last Friday - there was a line at McDonalds and figured this would be quicker since there were no other cars in line. Ordered a Big Boy combo, and it took OVER FIFTEEN MINUTES to get my food. I finally got someone's attention through the window. And all I got was a sarcastic "Sorry about... More

Very sorry for the poor experience. There is no corporate email though so not sure what you tried on that point. I hope you tried giving the restaurant a call so we could fix things for you. We may not be perfect but we strive to take care of our mistakes. Our phone number is at the bottom of every... More

A regular sized Big Boy sandwich and a decent salad bar came to $9.67. Big Boy sandwiches are great once in a while, but over all a poor value.

Our all you can eat soup, salad and fruit bar by itself is $8.10. When you order the big boy by itself it will cost $3.75 and to add the salad bar you only add $5.20, so it is like only adding .85 cents to add a big boy sandwich to your salad bar. of coarse you have to add in... More

It has been quite some time since we have been here and this morning reminded me why. Our normal breakfast place we eat at every Saturday and Sunday was packed so we decided to come here. We eat at several Big Boy restaurants throughout the Midwest when we travel and were disappointed to see the breakfast menu here was quite... More

Thank you for your feedback. To clarify the regional difference between Big Boy menus, I am assuming most of the Big Boys you have gone to are in Michigan because that sounds like their menu. We are a franchise of Frisch's Big Boy out of Cincinnati. They have 100 plus locations in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. As for not having... More

I went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my son. We tried the buffet and was very disappointed. The bacon had a very unusual and nasty taste. The waffles tasted like they had been deep fried. The sausage was overcooked. The pancakes were spongy. I will not visit this place again.

Sorry for not meeting your expectation during your visit. I would hope that you told someone at the restaurant of the items you did not enjoy so we could fix them. Thank you for taking the time to let us know what we can do better. More
