It is a small restaurant on the historic square in Greensburg. It is know for the Hoosier favorite fried tenderloin. A must if you have never tried one. The also have daily blue plate specials and a wide assortment of pies. It's well worth the stop!!!

The tenderloin & homemade pie was well worth the detour on our road trip to Indiana Caverns to Spelunk

Good down-home food. But the Pie is over the top! Get it with breakfast or dinner - either way it is the perfect ending to the meal.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Great menu but I stuck to simple roast beef sandwich and shared an amazing peach pie. It's been trading for years, you can tell. Interior is worn, but clean. Nostalgic because they have resisted the temptation to modernise, so it is a slice of old small town Americana. Met one if the owners, lovely... More

Restaurants around here are known for their tenderloin sandwiches and this is one of the best. Good sandwich selections and sides, we go here mainly for lunch. Low key place with almost no decor, but friendly folks and a good go to place for a decent meal. Looks like they have a really good selection of pies but I'm yet... More

As far back as I remember Stories has been on the square in Greensburg. Their food is still amazingly good. We had lunch recently at Stories while home for a weekend. I had the vegetable soup with a grilled cheese. One of the best soups I've tasted in a while that was better than homemade. The grilled cheese was a... More

It has been a while since we have been here. We had tenderloin and sweet potato fries. The food was good. I like how the sweet potatoes were done like waffle fries. We also had pie. Coconut cream and banana cream pie. I loved the banana cream.

We decided to eat here after reading the reviews. My husband wanted to try their chicken fried steak. It was not on the menu, so he asked about it and was told it was a Tuesday night special. He ordered the tenderloin sandwich instead and I had the roast beef manhattan. Both meals were amazing. We wanted to order dessert,... More

My husband and I love visiting new places and taking driving trips in the Midwest. We were looking for someplace new when we came across Stories' Restaurant as having the best tenderloin in Indiana. This is a big debate in Indiana as it is considered home of the tenderloin. So, we headed out one Saturday morning to give it a... More

We went here wanting their homemade pie. First, they were out of several kinds on a Sat evening. Then my husband requested lemon for his water. The wait person brought it in her fingers. The catfish was flattened like it was frozen and heated under a "flat iron." The green beans and mashed potatoes were good. Nothing but head lettuce... More
