Stopped at Fat & Sassy for Lunch. Brother, this is small town dining at its best. Several specials to choose from, with a variety of sandwiches and soups. The diner is only open until 3:00p, so it's a breakfast and lunch only establishment. So, by-pass the burger joint and enjoy the local diner.

This is the second time I've eaten here and the food is outstanding! I've had the Grown-up Grilled Cheese which was delicious! The mixture of cheeses really made the sandwich. The regular chicken salad was creamy with a lot of chicken. It comes on different kinds of bread and you can get them toasted. One of my friends had the... More

My mother and I split a reuben sandwich and a bowl of tortilla soup to give us each more variety in our meal. Both were generous portions with tortilla chips and potato chips respectively and reasonably priced. This restaurant is small but has quite an extensive menu for lunch time fare. The friendly waitress offered to bring us some samples... More

Wonderful lunch stop at this cafe in a cute downtown. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly - I had a Cup of soup and a sandwich, but had to use all my willpower to resist the tasty looking baked goods.

Cute and quaint town. Felt wholesome and everyone was friendly. Searched for good lunch place and it popped up. Food good, yummy clam chowder. Nice break on long trip. A bit off the road (10 mi), worth it.

Needed a quick lunch after visiting the Lincoln Boyhood Memorial (which is great!) and stopped here. Pleasantly surprised. Much better than we expected. Soup was excellent and kids enjoyed their sandwiches. Would recommend it add a vinaigrette dressing for salads.

Wife and I stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday, and was pleasantly surprised. We had looked up where to eat on 231 South of Jasper and saw the reviews on this joint, and boy they were right. The service was great and both of our sandwiches were really good. Need to order the Lemonade for sure it... More

Fat and Sassy is known for soup in a bread bowl, but I usually get the two-salad sampler plate to go! Their chunky chicken salad is a "must," and there are an interesting and ever-changing variety of other salads to try. Save room for Rosie's famous bread pudding!
