Don't let this diner's tiny appearance fool you... there is plenty of nostalgia packed inside! Everywhere you look, there are vintage items, even the ceiling! My 5 year old LOVED the old soda fountain counter with the spinning stools. The server was very friendly and offered suggestions for menu items we might like, recommending a drink called Cho-cola to us... More

We arrived 10 minutes before closing, although we didn't realize that until we walked in. Having been in retail, we know people want to go home at the end of the day, so we offered to come back another time, but they insisted we stay. It is small, but we were the only customers in the place. The people were... More

I love diners & cafes and after stumbling across this here I knew I had to visit. The pictures make it appear nicer than it is in person. Still cute, but more of a little hole in the wall to me. I appreciate all of the decor and it's tribute to the 50's. With that said my food did not... More

While visiting our daughter and son-n-law in Indianapolis, found the Rock-Cola 50's Cafe thanks to TripAdvisor! After spending a wonderful day downtown Indy, we headed to the Rock-Cola 50's Cafe for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived the building looks a little rough but the parking lot was packed (good sign) so we went inside with... More

Stopped in for lunch and had the Reuben, the service was prompt and friendly, the sandwich was piled high and toasted to perfection and the price was very reasonable.

Got a groupon, read reviews, drove out of the way, freaked out by the sign. Went in and LOVED IT! The atmosphere, super friendly staff and the food! YUMMY! Great quality, great variety and value. If we didn't live 4 hours away it would be a normal place for us! Seriously go there! The puc is my Philly (had it... More

Good food, wide selection, and great value. Tasty sandwiches. Made the quick lunch before airport (about 30 minutes to Indianapolis Airport)! Grilled tenderloin is massive! Loved the pickled veggies on the beef sandwich! Ruben sandwich was also excellent! Rock-Cola 50's Cafe. Indy.

We had a fun time stopping by for our first visit. It is a tiny place, with maybe ten booths total and about as many stools. The food was all hot. The decor is dated (to the 1950s). They sell Choc-Cola, which is mainly why we came, as my kids adore this stuff. We will definitely go again in the... More

When they pointed to the buffet, I thought "THAT'S a buffet?" But when I checked it out, I had to give it a try. It was WONDERFUL and included HIGH-QUALITY FOODS. Unlimited bacon (some of the best bacon you've ever had), sausage patties, smoked sausage, and ham...that's right FOUR MEATS. Scrambled eggs on the buffet, plus they offered to make... More
