We hosted a baby shower here and couldn't have been more pleased! The staff was a dream to work with!! The food and drink were amazing and priced so reasonably. We recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday on a week night. They had a good wine list and a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice as well.

The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and the food was fresh and plentiful. The only challenge might be finding a close parking space as the restaurant is in downtown Lafayette, but it's worth it.

We ate here for Brunch. Great Service, delicious coffee, the pear pancakes were heavenly, and the benedicts were delicious, especially the lobster. And it wasn't all claw meat, but included tail and joint. The hollandaise was the best I've ever had. Wish my stomach was bigger so we could have tried the chicken and waffles and biscuits and gravy. We tried to eat at the sports bar up the street, but the buildings on that side of the road were flooded with a water main leak!.. We had a country club service lunch at the 501, for cub food prices. Excellent menu selection. Must try the Butternut Squash Soup , simply fantastic, with little crunchies on top. Really good... More

We met friends for dinner. My husband and I shared a salmon entree which was a very generous serving. Also ordered a small salad. Our table ordered 2 desserts to share--cream brûlée and sticky toffee carrot cake. Both were excellent. Service was very attentive and friendly.

While my friend and I were visiting Lafayette this summer, we had the pleasure of dining at Bistro 501 on a Wednesday evening. My friend raved about the Sea Scallops and I was just as happy with the Beef Tenderloin. Eric, our server was knowledgeable, professional, and, "catered" to our every request. We decided to return for Sunday Brunch and we... More

A small group of us met for Sunday brunch at Bistro 501. We selected the restaurant based on the variety of choices on the menu...I chose the breakfast tamales, one friend selected the chicken and waffles, one chose the classic eggs Benedict, and the other selected classic scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries. We enjoyed a very pleasant leisurely meal,... More
