This is the small town restaurant with home cooking. Food is good. Daily specials, and they offer an assortment of pies. Not fancy at all, but looked very clean. Could be considered a place where the locals gather.

A favorite spot we've returned to repeatedly. Home cooking, with delicious pie - the coconut cream this time was fabulous! Warm, friendly hospitality, too.

My husband and I had a basic breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast. The scrambled eggs were well prepared, but the sausage was unlike any that I have had before. It was tasteless and about the diameter of a hamburger, but thinner. Perhaps it is a locally prepared sausage, but not to our liking. Fast, friendly service.

This place is relatively small and quiet. Menu is a bit more limited than the larger restaurants in the area. For something like sandwich and soup, it is a good choice.

We were in Middlebury visiting the Entegra factory, some told us about the Village Inn. The food is well above average, the wait staff is friendly, and knowledgeable, and the price is right. All, and all a very good stop.

Nice selection on the menu to choose from. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything has always been pretty good. Make sure you leave room for pie or get a piece to go!

My friend enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and a delicious piece of rhubarb cream pie. I ordered a childhood favorite that tasted exactly like my Mom's: fried mush. Yum!! Quiet place next to the amazing Gohn Brothers Amish fabric and clothing store. Pleasant waitress, non-friendly cashier.

A nice little town with some shops. The Village Inn stay away. We ordered chili and there special goulash. The food was cold so we asked them to take it back and heat it up. The chili was ok but they forgot to bring back the food we finally had to ask where the food was. The reason they forgot.... More

I was shopping at Gohn Brothers, the Amish goods store next to the Village Inn. At the restaurant I got a take-out meal in a container within a thick brown paper bag that helped me in a big way.

Traditional dining menu. Great food, reasonable prices, daily specials. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Friday, closes at 2:00 on Saturday.
