Food was fair at best. Not close to town not worth the drive. They had a guy playing the guitar and he was not good at all.Our waiter didn't want to be at work. I would not go back. The bar may be ok but we were so dissapointed we didn't go back there

Ate a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Service was good and food was decent, but rather average. Menu was extensive but our 4 meals were just ok--chicken artichoke wrap, pulled pork, fried fish and blt. Choices for a sit down lunch are somewhat limited in Nashville so this is still a decent choice.

We had the ancient grains pancake ( one enough for two of us) and eggs over easy prepared just right with good coffee. Sounds simple but the food was prepared well, served hot. The muddy boots cafe was located on the north side of town but now a little hard to find behind the pine room tavern. The lunch and... More

The food was great!! Very unique for the type of bar/grill/restaurant. Went for breakfast and dinner. They advertise live music every night. We went two evenings and no music. There are two areas to eat. The bar side and back restaurant. We ate in both places. I would not bring children to the bar side. You don't notice there is... More

Attended open mic night for a little entertainment and a drink. We really enjoyed one musician - second one, not so much. Had a glass of wine. It was basically box wine for $11/glass. It tasted terrible, we were surprised they didn't offer a replacement item.

Was really looking forward to visiting the area & one of my favorite restaurants. The Pine Room had been pretty upscale on their menu & cooking. Not the ordinary fare. But now Muddy Boots has moved to the back room & changed the menu. I imagine the chef is out & cooks are in. I guess they couldn't support 2... More

Arrived late in Brown County and were hungry. It's located way in the back of any apartment complex, but in walking distance of Comfort Inn in Nashville. Beautiful wood cabin interior of the restaurant and open mic night. Guy playing guitar was good. Waitress was great and I think only one of two on Wednesday night so she was really... More

We stayed at the hotel right in front of this place and ate there for breakfast ... it was fine. But I think the real entertainment and what they are known for is night life - they have bands and such. We never made it back to see the bands we were having lots of fun at Big Woods. It... More

Every table was full for breakfast, and its not the easiest place to find. My son & wife, who consider themselves "weekend locals" told us about this and met us there. Go past McDonalds and turn left when you see the Family Dollar. The Muddy Boots is INSIDE the Pine Room tavern at the back. I had a good omelet... More
