People drive TO Richmond, Ind., to eat at Ghyslain and to gaze at the amazingly beautiful chocolates even if (like me) they can't eat them. While service can be slow, the food is terrific. Chicken pot pie is my favorite, but I'm not an adventuresome...More

So, we're heading back to Richmond from the Darke County Fair, discussing our restaurant choices for the evening, some 5 hours ahead. My son, who attends college in RIchmond, heard raves about Ghyslain. I had researched this place before leaving my home on the Coast...More

Just thinking about the food here makes your both water! The hand-decorated desserts are truly amazing! And the restaurant itself is beyond gorgeous! Eating here makes you feel sophisticated and elegant, and makes you want to come back all the time!

Ritzy and upscale, Ghyslain is a main attraction in Richmond's Historic Depot District. The menu isn't huge, but the food is some of the finest dining in town. The gorgeous handpainted chocolates and exquisite desserts are the real showstoppers, though. Service can be a little...More

Visited Ghyslain's for the first time for a meal which was brunch. Since the menu was not on their website, I didn't know what to expect and I was suprised to find only breakfast items. I expect brunch to include a few sandwiches or salads...More

Chocolate is an art at Ghyslain. The dinners are fantastic, but generally very pricey. As a restaurant, highly recommended for special occasions. As a place for a spectacular chocolate experience, it is hard to beat. One of these days I'm going to have a light...More

We were there for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and offerings. The menu and specials included fish and vegetarian items. The desserts in the...More
