We use to eat at Louie's regularly when we lived up there. We ate there because of memories of the delicious broasted chicken.

Nothing fancy, basic bar food but the fish is always good, friendly staff, easier to get into than the restaurant by the lake and the food is better.

The best thing about this place is that they recently went smoke free. Portions are really small for the price especially the mushrooms. Drinks aren't bad. The place is for sale. Maybe the new owners will change things.

My husband and I went to Louie's for the first time with my parents. They live in Syracuse and in the 18 years they have lived there we've not been to Louie's. It is a good place for conversation, casual food and drinks. We were on the early side, which my parents prefer. They implied it gets a little loud... More

My friends and I went here for dinner instead of the Frog and were pleased. All of us ordered some type of fried food which they do well. Fried mushrooms were yummy, fried fish was yummy, and so were the burgers. I would put it more towards average because it doesn't have much ambiance, FOX News & GSN playing on... More

A great place to get chicken livers. My husband really enjoys them. He said they were very good! It is hard to find places that serve chicken livers, hearts and gizzards. The fried chicken is also good. Ribs are so-so. Coleslaw is creamy and wonderful. It is much nicer now that there is no smoking inside. It is a little... More

Hubby loved the gizzards (I think they are bait) but we both liked the small town feel here. Menu had lots of options and they had a nice selection of beer and alcohol. 21 and over only

We've gone to Louie's for a lot of years, but as our health consciousness has grown, we have chosen this bar/grill less and less. They FINALLY put a decent salad on their menu, but it's $10. It's your typical bar food, so if you love fried, then this is your place. It's smokey as well. My advice is, if you... More

We have been going to Louie's since the 70's. We love the fish on Fridays. The frog legs are a good choice for something different. My favorite is the chicken livers. I know other's like the hearts but the liver's are tender and juicy a must try. Anyway where can you go sit inside or outside have great snacks and... More
