I have friends who love this place, but I always think it's just okay. Home made bread and fresh goodies from the adjoined bakery next door. Decent quality. Casual dining. Closed on Monday and holidays. Some specialty sandwiches that are distinct. Average meal per person is around $12 if you get soup.

Hadn't been there in years. Went for lunch and as always, not disappointed. Fresh food and not to heavy. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Need to go more often!

Never have had anything bad from Homers. Food is always fresh and good. Any Clintonian knows this and would agree.

Love their soups and sandwiches. Can count on good choices. My sister and I have lunch there often and will continue to lunch there.

Homer's Deli has the best sandwiches in town! My favorite is the Mad Russian, which is similar to a Reuben but with their own slaw rather than sauerkraut. The soup is yummy, but the pasta salad rivals my own homemade. Give them a try on Main Avenue. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here while on a camping trip. The bread used for the sandwiches was great tasting and very fresh! That is what we liked the best. They don't have a ton of choices but they do allow substitutions. We just bought the sandwiches and ice tea, which we enjoyed. Great place for a simple, great tasting... More

Traveling from Richmond, Texas on a Midwest road trip and in area sight-seeing during lunch time. We stopped based on Trip Advisor reviews. I ordered the Mad Russian sandwich. The special slaw added to the sandwich made it tasty. Bread was fresh. Nice spacious, clean eating area. Staff is friendly. At the time we arrived, there were only a couple... More

Tried both Homer's and Sweetheart Bakery. Homer's isn't bad. It's a very simple deli, but the food they have is good. The bread was really good. They did have a good amount of things that you could put on your sandwich. Overall, a good place to grab lunch. The bakery, though, was even better. Lots of great choices. Cookies that... More

Stopped by to get subs for the next days lunch. I got the chicken with cheddar on white. The sandwich was a good size. I only ate half. But it was really good, even the next day. My kids (teenagers) finished their sandwiches. They really enjoyed them. Way better than subway. My only complaint would be customer service. 2 out... More

The staff is awesome and the food is so wonderful and we always get something from the bakery. We live in Atlanta, Georgia and visit Homers every time we come to Clinton in February for our granddaughter's birthday. We love Homets!!!😘
