Was very good. Their pizza is amazing! Desserts were excellent! My daughter had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. A little pricey, but our server was wonderful! Will be back for the pizza!!

A large group of us dropped in with no reservation on a Friday night and they were wonderful in accommodating us. It's not easy to fit a party of 16 with no notice and with multiple checks. They handled it perfectly. The food was very...More

Numerous selections on the menu, a little bit of everything. My choice must have been the wrong one as the Beef Stroganoff was very disappointing. The waitress was a joy; university student with personality plus. Prices seemed pricey to me but the restaurant was packed....More

I'm so glad your liked our wait staff--they're the best. I regret we have to have raised prices over the last 2 years but we had to comply with the local minimum wage which raised minimum wages from $7.50 to $10.10. I'm glad they make...More

I'm a pizza lover and Monica's did not disappoint me. I had a pizza with sausage and pepperoni as well as the garlic rolls. It was delicious. I ate here based on reviews from other diners. I would highly recommend this.More

Thanks so much. It's wonderful to get a great review from a veteran reviewer. Our people take great pride in their work. Grande cheese on our pizza is one of the things, along with aging and hand-tossing, that we do differently than any one else...More

Although the menu has so many choices, leaving you feel a bit bewildered on what to order, their food is really good. I really like the baked ziti, which had lots of flavor, and was just delicious. Although it's American-Italian, I would say there is...More

I always know what to expect at Monica's: good food, good service and lots of gluten free options. Great salads and excellent pizza (I get the gluten free version).

Thanks so much! I especially was glad you found vegetarian options you liked as that isn't one of our biggest strengths but we try to have good options. Just wanted to say thanks and let you know we just installed new booth cushions and re-painted...More

They do not serve brunch as best I know. Noon traffic is not heavy on a Sunday, especially if you arrive before 11.

We provide great choices for everyone with our huge menu of over 90 items of American favorites or Italian Specialties, plus more than 4 dozen of them can be made gluten-free. The American menu items are mostly classics from the heartland such as Chicken Pot Pie, Beef Stroganoff, Meatloaf, Jambalaya and sandwiches headlined by a great custom-ground fresh Hamburger made with 3 cuts of Iowa beef for great flavor and juiciness.

The Italian Specialties include such tasty creations as Baked Ziti with Chicken and Shrimp, Lobster with Black Fettucine, Chicken and Spinach Ravioli, Chicken Balsamico, Baked Salmon, and Bruschetta, as well as several Panini's. We also have 10 Big Specialty Salads, many appetizer choices, homemade cupcakes and delectable desserts. We offer a full line of beers and wines, as well as a full bar. You can choose to sit in the room with tv's and a dining room without, as well as out on the patio. Thanks for visiting!
