OK, why do we go get Italian? Salad? No. Fish? Nope. Beer and a Brat? Naw. Italian means Sauce. Sauce and everything that's good in the world blanketed in Red Sauce and God's own herbs, garlic, olive oil....... You can close your eyes, and slowly savor this sauce like your first wet kiss on a hot Summer night. Yep! It's... More

Mario greeted our party of 7 when we arrived. Had a couple of coctails at the bar for starters. Good, friendly bar service. Reservations accepted for tables of 5 or more. Marios was not too packed. Ordered salads and they were quick. Panzerotti deluxe was huge......and tastey. Veal was very good. I suggest a visit to this local, small neighborhood... More

Been a customer for over 30 years, great food preparation and quality and portions (though over time veal has reduced to keep overall meal price down). Atmosphere is authentic 1960's, wish they used cloth napkins, and only item that keeps from a 5 is prices of drinks a little high in overall market for quantity. Always a joy to eat... More

We were greater by the owner in traditional Italian style! Very friendly, old school Italian restaurant, nothing fancy to look at but, good food!

Went to Mario's for some "old school" Italian anxious to try a panzarotti. We ordered one, as well as a pizza. Both would have been fine EXCEPT the mozzarella cheese had a lingering salty taste that was difficult to get by. Maybe that's what makes it authentic, but it caused both items and our dining experience to be a bit... More

Just like real Italian from our experience having lived in Italy. Fantastic service, excellent menu, we'll prepared and presentation, 1960s decor adds to the atmosphere, family owned and operated for decades. We eat here monthly. It's different than other great Italian restaurants, better than every chain, and tough competition in town and Tristates.

Old school Italian restaurant. Probably unchanged since the 1950's or before. Delicious food, large menu. Very authentic, nothing modern about the menu items either. We had heard raves about Angelina's White Sauce, so we had to try it. Tortellini was very good. With the White Sauce, the Meat Tortellini was a better choice than the Cheese Tortellini, but both were... More
