Good food, good service. Cute little gift shop. Easy to get to right off the highway. Walking distance from nearby hotel and toy museum.

We specifically stopped here because we were here once before about 15 years ago. We new the food would be great and it was. Moderately priced but very tasty. We shared a piece of rhubsrb pie that was to die for. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Gift Shop has local pieces and also local wine. Nice touch I thought.

We stopped here for late lunch after visiting the Field of Dreams movie site, and were pleased with the menu choices and the quality and quantity of the food. The service was very friendly, quick and efficient. We'd definitely eat here again.

The rhubarb crumble is perfect. And the rest of the food was nice as well. We were in town for the Field of Dreams and this was right off the exit. Lucky for us.

Country atmosphere with a nice variety of menu options. Breakfasts are always tasty. Try the silo stacker or the hired hand. Sunday mornings are all you can eat family styled pass the potatoes please meals. You get breakfast meats, eggs, rolls, hash browns, and pancakes. Very filling at a reasonable price. Sunday buffets include chicken, beef, ham, etc. and a... More

Called ahead and ordered breakfast. I had the eggs, hash brown, sausage and toast. The food was ready when we arrived. Waitress was very friendly, food was hot. They advertise "made from scratch". A definite improvement from anything I was going to eat at the Holiday Inn.

Friendly, fast service, good food, reasonable prices. We would make a point of coming back if we were in the area again.

A large menu, 1 night is Mexican night, but you can still order off the menu. Sunday brunch is served "country service" bowls of potatoes, platters of eggs and bacon, etc. like you put on the table at home (family style) OR you can still order off the menu. Good food and service.

If you want to have a great home cooked meal, this is the place after visiting Field of Dreams or traveling through. The menu has a great variety of local standard meals. All freshly made and service was fast and friendly! Prices are average for area. Make sure to get a pie for desert there or to take out. They... More

I really wanted to like this place, it's entrees and desert, but in the end it was all just so surprisingly average. The server seemed disengaged and brought my salad with my lasagna entree. The salad was ok with a ton of croutons without request, but a nice peppercorn parmesan dressing. The lasagna had a dark burgundy tone to it... More
