This brewery was a fun stop. We thought they had a restaurant, but no. Just peanuts, although it is possible to order in food. We tried the coco stout and the ofest, Octoberfest beers. Both were excellent.

Bring some friends and enjoy some very good beer in a nice little taproom. You can bring your own food if you like. Flights and pints under $6. We visited three times during our long weekend nearby. Enjoy!

I had not heard of West O. I picked a bottle of their coco at Bob's Hot Dog House on a whim and was blown away. It vaulted into my top two milk stouts along with Lakewood Temptress in Dallas, TX. It's smooth, crisp and just the right balance of bitter. Truly a great beer. The beer was so good,... More

Stopped by on a recent trip to Okobiji. A friend suggested we stop by. I had the Smokey Red. One of the best beers I have had.

If you want to find some good beer in a fun environment, this is the place. We love to try their sampler offering to taste their new offerings. You need to try their chocolate stout. It is a winner. Bring your own snacks or order pizza delivered.

A relatively new micro-brewery on the south side of the Okoboji area. Several different beers to choose from ... but we like to try a "flight" of 4 samples of different brews. The staff is helpful explaining the different types of beer. No food service, but you can have food delivered from a few local restaurants. Live music on certain... More

Best part about this place is I can bring in taco house. Coco stout is good. Other beers are not that good. Hey guys, change up your selection once in a while. It's 2016. Do you know how many good breweries exist in the US? Do you know how many different beers most of them make in a year? My... More

The atmosphere is great the trap bets are really good per my husband. Seasonal beers are always a treat. I had the root beer and it was awesome. Give it a try.

I am in The Lakes area often and stopped by West O for the first time. I was alone, I was there in the off-season, and wasn't planning to stay long. I simply wanted to see what it was like and to maybe make a purchase. When I first entered, it was one of those situations where everyone stopped talking... More
