Have eaten there three times. Lunch and dinner. Wait staff were fast courteous but food cleanliness was beyond words!! Lunch meal arrived but was luke warm. Had two dinners there. Both included black human hair in the food!! Disgusting! We almost threw up. When we told the manager they merely made us another batch! No compensation for our meal and... More

This little diner is a slice of Americana. A classic diner with a classic breakfast menu and great house chicken. The owners are a nice young couple who manage the front and back of the house. Your coffee won't go cold and the skillets are filling. My family frequents the red roof before church on Sunday and occasionally stop by... More

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food and service is fabulous, the facility is amazingly clean, and the prices extremely reasonable. My grandchildren always beg me to take them there for Mickey Mouse pancakes. I recommend the Philly chicken sandwich.

This is a very good place to eat. Staff appreciate the business and they do a great job. Tasty food and the soups are homemade. Lots of variety on the menu. We enjoy meeting people there to enjoy good food and good company.

Can only say it was average, there was nothing wrong and it was fast and very reasonable. Food was ok, most things like biscuit gravy and hash taste like from a can, not scratch.

We wanted to dine at a place that was popular with locals and the Red Roof fit the bill. Food was typical diner fare and the waitresses seemed to know most of the customers. Place was clean and friendly and the tapioca pudding was very good. Would definitely stop here again on a trip to the Dubuque area.

We stopped by for breakfast and were not disappointed. Its a small town restaurant, located nearby the interstate highway, family operated and very friendly. There are not to many items on the menu, but enough to choose from for any hour. The prices are reasonable. The portions were generous and the food was well cooked. We met nice people, had... More

Wide variety on breakfast menu. You won't go away hungary. Super service and pleasant atmosphere. Pecan waffles are great along with omelets with mounds of hashbrowns. Why go to a chain restaurant when you can get small town food at its best.

First off, it's a diner, but a nice one. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was good: Jumbo shrimp and fries for me, a giant gyros for the lady. The menu included standard diner fare as well as steak and seafood. Dinner comes with soup or salad and disert.
