Huge ups to the waitress. I hope you get to read this. I came in last week with two hungry guys right when two extra truck loads of men also arrived. Plus there was 3 tables already seated. You treated us all the same and made sure we all got asked about extras like ketchup and vinegar. I asked for root beer and was asked about ice. All this was done with a beautiful smile on your face. You informed us quickly that there was no lettuce, as it was coming from Thunder Bay. Having worked at Mackenzie lake base, as a cook and running a guest lodge since May I finally had a chance to eat out...so I ordered a burger with fries. Hubby pilot ordered the marinated chicken and also got soup - because there was no salad. Plus our other pilot ordered a burger with poutine - which I got to try for the first time. The food was tasty and arrived very fast considering how busy you guys were. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Plus as a female I have to mention the ladies toilets...only one other time in all the restaurants, in all the places I have checked out the women’s toilets, before I have eaten, has perfume been left for guests use! Thanks!

Jean Gillard has been operating this restaurant since 2001 which has to be the best kept secret on Trip Advisor, the only mention I found was in a review of her competitor's location.
What keeps a restaurant around this long? Good food, good service, fair pricing, clean and comfortable dining facilities, this restaurant is has all these. I only stopped for breakfast but it was obvious that this location is very popular with both the local business coffee group and with highway maintenance workers.
