Everything was awesome. From the outside, it's like a retro diner on the corner! Even with the big spinning sign in front! Outside seating available, inside was more than comfortable. Loved looking to the front or side of me and just seeing beautiful buildings and all the people just strolling along. And the staff was excellent. Our waiter was funny... More

Newton's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. They have a small menu selection but the food is great. I haven't had a meal here I didn't like. I love the little twists they have for common meals. For instance, they have sweet potato salad instead of regular potato salad. I brought my dad here once (he's from... More

Met friends for brunch. Excited about the $10 for all you can drink mimosas or Bloody Mary's. mimosa with cranberry juice was excellent.

The staff is friendly the minute you walk in the door. Breakfast all day. Excellent food that is not the common every day fare.

We have eaten here a few times. It is good food and a neat atmosphere in a converted jewelry store. It is a nice spot for a quiet dinner.

My picture of the pancake doesn't do it justice! The plate was probably 12" in diameter! Food was awesome! Try the raspberry jam and then buy a jar! We happen to like sautéed onions in our potatoes, so had those added. Bacon was awesome! Enjoy!

Great food, large portions, reasonably priced. Old fashioned diner atmosphere. Very busy on Sundays after church. Be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait.

your everyday mid-size mid west diner? Not really! It is in the heart of downtown Waterloo steps away from the Cedar River and, before I forget there is free parking next to the building so no need to feed the meter. Good old hometown food in a diner atmosphere at low costs....you simply have to order the 16 oz. breaded... More

Newton's is one of Waterloo's best downtown restaurants! Breakfast tastes great and decent price! Also, had their pork Tenderloin and it's enough for two people scrumptious! Signature drinks, jellies and sauces, Newton's is a place where you will leave and talk about the next visit!
