What a lovely place. There was 11 of us attending a 50th birthday celebration and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Some had the carvery which was fresh hot and plentiful. The rest of us ordered off the menu which was varied and reasonable....More

Visited for a midweek lunchtime carvery. Food was excellent as was the service. Pub is clean and decor is up to date with a traditional pub style. Always like visiting this pub for a meal as there is lots of space around most of the...More

A rump steak and grilled plaice - both simple enough orders, but frequently poorly executed either by ingredients or cooking. Happily no such problems here - both meals were delicious and cooked as requested. The Plough and Harrow deserves it’s popularity.

An excellent and well presented spread of carvery food and veg. I little overpriced but a pleasant enough setting in a large and well staffed pub. Recommend the pensioner's price meal for most people. You can unnecessarily over fill your plate otherwise.

We've eaten lunch here on several occasions. As well as the popular carvery there's an a la carte menu. Either option is popular but for value for money the carvery wins hands down. It offers the usual 3 meats (why do carveries never offer lamb?!)...More
