It was a good restaurant for a casual meal but it has now closed its doors. Nearest restaurants would be in Carrickfergus or Whiteabbey Village or for a light lunch or snack, the Tee Rooms in Greenisland.

My partner and I decided to give the carvery a try, we were aware it stopped at 4pm and arrived at 3.10, upon arrival we waited about five minutes to be seated and the waiter explained the system. We went to the soup station and the level of soup was low and there was only one bread roll left, so... More

We eat here regularly and have not had a bad meal as yet. Staff are lovely, food is excellent and they do some very good deals like beat the clock, steak meal for two with a bottle of wine, seniors discounted meals and children's menu. Beautiful views from the conservatory on a good day.

Picture the scene.. Mother's Day weekend, My partner and I were having the age old 'discussion' of where to eat, after striking out in Belfast (all booked out) we ventured a bit further. The Knockagh lodge staff answered the phone quickly and were obviously busy, they were able to get us a table at short notice and really saved the... More

If it's good old Mr Average grub that your after then look no further, Catherine had a turkey and ham pie and I had the all day fry (because I could ) anyway it was good not brilliant but good same as you would cook yourself, and it wasn't expensive so it's worth a try

This is a classic at the base of the knockagh with great views of belfast lough. Has a picturesque sun room but avoid if sunny as its like a greenhouse. Menu hasn't changed much in the years. The restaurant had a make under tho. Strangely the pub bit now seems more posh lol. But its nice. I prefer the pub... More
