When you have to have a real WICHITA burger, Ty's Diner is the place. This place is a landmark! Ty's opened in the 1950's and keeps getting better with age ( some say it's the grill). The owners here love what they do and it shows ( they own the place). The customers here love the food and it shows... More

I've been dining @ Ty's through the years~lot's of good memories' w/ special occasion's celebrated there. Though I don't live as close as I use to it's still one of my favorite stops when I'm in the area~I make it a must to make sure I get there. The food hasn't changed much~still as AWESOME as it ever was! My... More

It's refreshing to get fresh hot food that's not cooked until you order it. Truly a great ole fashion burger joint that serves more than just burgers.

I've been going to this Diner for Many Many Years now (a family tradition)~they have the BEST BURGERS & PHILLY'S in town & you haven't had a Pork Tender Sandwich if you haven't had one at Tys. The staff now is just exceptional~where everybody knows your name~you are greeted with a smile & leave with a FULL TUMMY! Absolutely have... More

The joke about Ty's around the office is that everyone can tell you've been there after lunch because you smell like it all day. That can basically sum it up. It's a classic dive diner. The booths are a bit of a mess, but they've cleaned it up lately so it's not too bad. The burgers are good, but super... More

So sad...we went out of our way to get to this little diner, only to find out that they were not open in the evenings...wish that had been made clear somewhere...not on the website nor any other place on trip advisor....

This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that you hear about. It is in an old building and not in a fancy part of town. It has, however, a burger and fries that are out of this world. If your looking for one of the best burgers that you have ever eaten this is the place!

Sometimes you just want a fat-dripping, eye-rolling good burger. If so, Ty's is the place to go. And if the guilt hits later, just eat a salad for your next meal! (Oh yeah, don't forget the fries.)

Thank Kris K
