Three of us dined there 10/5. This was my first return in years and as others have said, little has changed. The service was great....the food disappointing. The "Italian sausage" had absolutely no hint of being Italian.

We had great service and good food. I ordered their chicken parmesan (not on the menu you have to special request it) and to me it had too much sauce on it...more sauce than anything else.

Like others have said, this place is all about aviation and aircraft nostalgia. I think that the family still owns it. To me, it is obvious that the food quality has remained the same, and their long-time customers remain loyal. Our dinner was good, and those that had steak all agreed that it well worth the price....a real bargain. The... More

We went back to Savute's after twenty five years. Very little had changed. We did not have reservations, but seated our group of eight within ten minutes. The red sauce on the pasta is delicious with a hint of spice. The steaks were cooked to diner's requests. The medium was tender and tasty. Fried chicken livers on spaghetti were a... More

My family and I decided to give them a try for dinner. The food was over priced and lacked taste. I had ordered the chicken fettucini. I swear the chicken looked and tasted like it came out of a can. The sauce was so pastelike that it was the texture of glue. My husband ordered a steak. The meat had... More

Savute's has been a staple of the Wichita scene for what must be thousands of years. Your great grand parents took you there when you were just beginning ot eat solid food, just as they took your grand parents and parents. The vintage aviation "motif" doesn't change and you really don't want it to. This is COMFORT steaks all the... More

This is authentic Wichita, the Air Capital of the World. Inside the front door you will find incredible aviation memorabilia, like a mini-museum. The Stick 'n Rudder Club (bar) is dark and comfy. Snuggle into an old airliner seat, help yourself to a snack and relax and enjoy. Back in the "ristorante," the menu is Italian, with a good steak... More

I know this place has been a standard in Wichita for quite a long time....... So not worth the money for the food and not worth my drive across town. I had dinner with friends here and my chicken alfredo lacked flavor and the chicken was grissle filled in places and chewy in others. I've had finer meals out of... More

We come here often. The steaks are delicious. The manicotti is pretty tasty too. The staff is great. It may look old from the outside but the food is good.

This restaurant has a long history but I think it needs updating. I ordered the manicotti & was very disappointed. The sauce over the rubbery sleeves tasted like it came straight out of a can of tomato paste.
