My husband and I rode the train and ate dinner. The meal was very tasty and plentiful. It was a fun ride just not very long. Kind of expensive

Group of four on the dinner train. I felt that it was priced a little high for the type of food. But I am from a small town that isn't used to the high prices.

Overall I enjoyed doing this but I would recommend going on a double date as they will seat you with strangers to fill tables. Food on my visit was great and scenery was good except the occasional redneck backyard with junk and old cars. It's still worth the experience to admire the craftsmanship and history behind it.

This is a rather expensive lunch but the food was quite good and plentiful. We were lucky enough to be seated with two passengers with similar interests and local knowledge. Service was exemplary. We had ordered the shrimp cocktail, which contained about 5 huge shrimp each. Seated near us was a lovely lady celebrating her 81st birthday. The scenery was... More

We went on the Lunch excursion of the Dinner Train on Christmas Eve day. The entire process to book, chose our meal, and board the train was made very easy by the great staff. The food was surprisingly good. In fact, it's one of the best Hot Browns I've ever eaten. The service was really great. They took care of... More

We loved this! Everyone very friendly. It's an experience we won't soon forget. It is a little pricy but I mean you are riding a train.

This is a very interesting train ride. The train runs on 37 miles of the old Louisville and Nashville Railroad built in 1860. The rail line carried freight and passengers until 1953 then be came a historical event. Three of the dinner train cars were made in the 1940's. The meal was excellent as well as the service and views.

After living in Kentucky for 16 years we finally took a ride on the dinner train to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It totally exceeded my expectations. Loved the scenic ride through bourbon country. My husband and I both had the Kentucky Hot Brown, which was very good. We went on the lunch train and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Went on the train ride for my birthday with my husband. Had a wonderful time. Had a nice view from the train and a wonderful lunch. Would ride the rails again. Maybe do dinner next time.

The Dinner Train was such a memorable experience to share with my husband and parents. The food and service were exceptional, and the excursion was smooth, informative and beautiful at this time of the year. We will definitely be back!
