My wife and I went and ordered a garlic stick and a large pizza. Instead of getting the food that was ready out to the the customers they were too busy doing nothing else.

The bread sticks are unbelievable! NEVER have I ever had such a rich, thick Italian grandma made bread stick out like this one. The Pizza was very good and fresh ingrediants. I would eat here twice a week if it was in my town!
I was sort of hoping for some gluten-free options here, but you have to opt for tuna salad or chicken salad if you want something without wheat. On the other hand, my colleagues all said the pizza was quite good, and the slices were generous.

The "Mountaineer" is the one! A 10" piping hot from the oven pizza with a beer/glass of wine was just the perfect lunch this afternoon! Papleno's is in the same block as the Boone Inn & Tavern, and so very convenient to anyone stay there....More
I enjoyed this, especially the breads. Otherwise expect a causal pizza type experience where you order at a desk and then wait for the food. Prices were as expected and the people were very nice.
