We made reservations and were seated immediately. We brought in my grandparents and the server was able to accommodate them without any questions. They wanted to split the fish which can be a pain but it was no issue here. They both loved it! I had the filet with crab and asparagus - I don't think I contributed to the... More

This was my first visit to Tousey House Taven located in a charming historic building built in 1822. I loved the atmosphere of the different eating spaces with their interesting antique pieces and paintings. We went on a Friday night as a walk-in. The restaurant was nearly full but we were able to be seated right away. The food was... More

Tousey House is a building on the historic register in Burlington, KY. It features good and unusual dishes, and the feeling that you have stepped back in time. Beautiful antiques and really good food. Also, some outstanding outdoor seating for the warm weather.

Tousey House exceeded our expectations. Alan and Michael? provided near-perfect service and the food was great. Creative menu. Dining room and facilities were fresh and tasteful, which is important in a 150 year-old building. It shows it's age without feeling dusty. The deck wasn't open yet but I'm hoping to sit out there next time. It looks pleasant.

You feel like you've been somewhere when you go here. The tables are nicely done with tableclothes and fresh flowers. Their eggs Benedict has fried green tomatoes. It adds a nice crunch and some acid to cut the richness of this dish.

Excellent service, food and reasonable prices. Dining rooms remind me of old taverns that would have served travelers in the early to mid 19th century. Must try the Hot Slaw. Fish sandwich is great and the Kentucky Brown is a real treat

This place was recommended to us by a local friend. The food was great! My husband ordered the chicken club sandwich and while that sounds ordinary, it was anything but! It is the tastiest sandwich we've had in a long time. I had the salmon salad and it was also great. We will be coming back!

We love this beautiful historic restaurant! The food is amazing and the house is absolutely beautiful! Anytime we want to celebrate anything, this is where we like to visit! We've been local patrons for years. The menu is definitely higher priced, but the food is well worth it! Be prepared to make a reservation if you are trying to go... More

My husband and I have been here multiple times (usually for Sunday Brunch or lunch). Everything I have had here as been very good. If I am ever craving shrimp and grits, this place is my go-to. It has a quaint atmosphere in an old building in Burlington. When we have gone we have never had to wait. I recommend... More

We took friends to the Tousey House for dinner a few days ago and had a wonderful meal. The server was attentive, the food delicious, there were good wine and craft beer choices and the atmosphere relaxing and comfortable. We are always pleased when we go here. Guess that's why we keep coming back!
