Excellent country cooking and friendly atmosphere. Don't go here if you're on a diet as there aren't any light choices and that's the only reason for 4 stars vs 5 stars. Staff is very friendly and food is excellent!

It was a little on the pricey side but there isn’t a lot of competition in town. The service was good and the meatloaf and fried chicken were just okay. The fried green tomatoes were heavily battered and came with a very different sauce.

We eat here every time we are near Glendale. If you are anywhere close to Elizabethtown, Lexington, Bardstown, (we would drive from Louisville), you should give this Southern American, Down-Home cooking a try! From their Cheeseburgers to their home-made pie, you will not be disappointed....More
