We stopped at this the Red State BBQ after visiting the horse Farms. It was packed and the people in this restaurant were exceptional and took care of everyone. What was impressive was their customer service and how they handled a group of approximately 20 walk-ins with a packed restaurant. A must place to stop at!

We had dinner here and both got the double smoked brisket. YUM! The sides were good but not great: cheese grits, corn pudding, beans and slaw. We prefer our brisket with a bit more rub flavor but this was moist and tender and none was wasted!

We had a Kentucky Ale Kolsh and it complimented the meal. My children got the kids meal and it was a great size for them. I sampled... More

Would have driven past this one every time but we stopped in based upon a recommendation from a local. We were not disappointed. The walls and ceiling are all written on adding to the eclectic flair. The food was super good and reasonably priced.

We decided to have lunch at this downtown eatery and we were so glad that we did. We got the three meat lunch special with a couple of sides. The three meats we selected were the pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket slices. All three were tender, moist, and tasted great with no sauce. The sauces only complimented the meats.... More
