We made reservations for 7 people on Mothers Day. The food definitely was not the wait we had to sit through. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered.

Just had lunch at Martini's; between Graduation's day and Mother's Day, the place is really busy, we arrived with no reservation but were welcomed really nicely and warmly. Magnificent appetizer plate, delicious bottle of wine (try the Gascogne Pajot for only $30 the bottle), the food was really really good, plates are generous. The service was more than professional, perfect!... More

Went with two other couples to celebrate one person's upcoming retirement. Food was good, with nice sized portions. Service was slow, like the kitchen could not deal with a busy Saturday night. Prices were maybe a tad high for Louisville, but within a reasonable price range.

while visiting college friends in Louisville we treated them to dinner and they suggested Martini's. The antipasti appetizer was a let down. A couple of pieces of meat, three asparaguses, a cut-up tomato, some cheese, peppers and toasted bread, not what I would call an antipasti plate? However, the dinners were excellent. My wife and I had a salad and... More

Great place. The blackened tilapia is surprisingly quite good. Good salads, nice offering of pastas etc. Prices are pretty much in line with expectations. Nice patio for outdoor seating. On weekends there's usually a pianist in the bar that places appropriate music for causal Italian. One of our go to place

Happened to be in Louisville right at the end of happy hour (6:45pm) and stopped in for dinner. Service was poor at best. Waited 10 minutes for a waiter to take my drink order and another 10 minutes to get it. Food was good and the management were very visible, helping out were they could. Management offered to remove the... More

My wife and I took my daughter out for special occasion. My daughter chose Martini's although I am not a big fan of Italian food. The atmosphere was great and the service fine as the waitress was very attentive to our needs. The problem was the food. My daughter had a pasta dish and was pleased with it but my... More

Our first time here and we loved it! Our drinks were yummy--try the Millionaire Row Bourbon Martini--and THE FOOD!!!! Our salads were fresh, crisp, and tasty. We ordered the lasagna and the veal Parmesan. We both thought they were delicious, and the servings were huge. We took half of each home. We will be back!!!

Martini is a cozy Italian restaurant in north-eastern Louisville. The menu is varied, with some standard, some more interesting Italian dishes, a quirky selection of hearty salads, and excellent surprises-one member of our party had fish and chips-the best he's had since he left England, he reported. Service is attentive but not overbearing, meals are served promptly and at appropriate temperatures,... More

Went in for lunch at 11:55. Place was almost empty but quickly filled. The waitress was very slow. Asked for a refill on my drink and waited 10 minutes. Asked for a dessert menu and waited 15 minutes!!! The food was very good. I had the Lobster and Crab Porvono. They have the BEST Tiramisu!!!! Also had calamari for appetizer.... More
