Was in Louiseville on a day trip and we decided to eat here. The ambience is informal and the serving staff were straight over to lead us to a nice little table in the middle of the room. We were served drinks and cornbread rolls very quickly while we perused the menu. The cornbread rolls were more likes cakes to... More

Marks feed store has a great atmosphere for family. The food is never a disappointment & prices are fair.

Based on the reviews, was expected a terrific BBQ experience but that was not the case. Ribs were not that good and did not fall off the bone. Chicken was dry. Sauces were good as were the sides but the "main event" disappointed.

The meat is cooked to perfection but the seasoning was lacking a little. Most of the flavor comes from the sauces. Great building and great atmosphere.

I had heard about this place from some colleagues so when we visited during a conference this year I was in for a treat. The food was wonderful and lived up to the expectations that were given from my co-workers. Unique location and excellent service.

The "Q"Shack in Louisville, KY is definitely Mark's Feed Store. My favorite location is located in the heart of the "Highlands." A fun and family-orientated environment with mouthwatering favor-filled barbeque entrees. I have always enjoyed great service even with a large family party. I love to order fried pickles, okra, and the 1/2lb pulled pork sandwich. Mark's Feed Store has... More

Visited on a Friday night and was surprised at how quiet the place was just after 7pm. Grown daughter and I split the onion straws, very tasty but we barely put a dent in them. We then split a sampler platter with three options. Ribs were great. Daughter said the chicken wings were the best she's had (I don't normally... More

Chose Mark's Feed based on Trip Advisor reviews. It did not disappoint. There is parking on site. We were seated immediately. The food was good- fried pickles, ribs and several local beers stood out. And the buttermilk pie was divine (and free on Mondays!) Service was great! Food was just shy of 5 stars, but would still recommend for a... More

Mark's Feed Store has incredible ribs and the best beef brisket I've had in years. The meat was cooked to ideal tenderness and was just about perfectly seasoned. It would have been worth the trip just to have that fine meal. When I come back to Louisville I will be eating Mark's Feed Store again.
