This establishment is a great place to experience an understanding about what the Bardstown Road area is all about. There is always a good selection of freshly brewed beers to meet everyone's taste in beer and good food to satisfy your appetite. Although this place can get pretty crowded quickly there are several seating options (outside, in the bar area,... More

We tried the bourbon beer (great), the Nitro Porter, and the IPA. All were good, but the bourbon beer is recommended if you are from out of town (like we were) and haven't had this before. Fried green tomato tacos are another unusual item that tasted great.

While searching for a place to grab a quick meal we happened upon Cumberland Brews a small bustling pub on Bardstown road in Louisville. We ordered a chile and the special of the day steak and French fries and a beer. The beer, chile and fries were good but the steak was pretty close to impossible to cut. ..Really really... More

After my 2nd visit, I felt the need to post a good score for this establishment. There's a lot of good beer finally being brewed by locals in KY. Not only does this place produce good beer, but also sells it at a price that will make you come back again and again. I went out of my way to... More

Very good brews but regardless of how many I have I always get a headache the next day. The mead is a must try if they have some on tap! The food is great and large portions for the most part and the quesadilla of the day is always a win if you don't know what to get. They fill... More

I have been here with freinds and solo at Cumberland brews more than once. They have a good small selection of food including wings, burgers, chili, and a good small selection of beer.

I have to say, I am furious. This has historically been a favorite place of mine. The beer is normally awesome, the food is ok, they are cool with families and are within walking distance of my house, not to mention the sentiment I have about this being the location of my first date with my husband. Favorite no more.... More

Beer, mead, and the best sweet potato fries with dipping sauce that have ever graced your tongue. We always make time for a stop at Cumberland when we're in the ville.

Stopped here on our way through Louisville after a camping trip. Great beers, innovative menu and great service. We tried the club sandwich which included fried green tomatoes and a fried egg, a mahi mahi quesadilla and the bison burger (which surprisingly wasn't dry). We were all pleased AND their french fries are delicious! This is coming from someone who... More
