Just got done with Wallace Station for lunch. We had high expectations but was a bit disappointed. I guess when we go to a bakery we would see eclairs, donuts, variety of pies and cakes. Well they didn't have that. They had a few pies. No cakes, no donuts, no eclairs. BUT we did buy the corn cookie and it... More

I've had their cookies at Louisville area events and when we were driving through Midway we made sure to stop for breakfast, cookies and bread. The breakfast scones and bagel sandwiches were very good but it is the cookies that are a must for us. We have lived in the Louisville, KY area for 17 years now and in KY... More

Scones, cookies and more. Try the corn cookies - very tasty and unlike anything else. Everything is made from scratch.

Each year at Christmas I grab a quiche at The Midway School Bakery. They are worth their weight in gold. Just the best. Stop in for great cookies and muffins too.

We went at 3:30 and closing time is 4. The servers weren't very friendly. We purchased an oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip cookie. They were ok. They are big and cake like. I like a chewy cookie. They do have some local business food items-Weisenberger muffin mix, jellies, etc.

We stopped here last Spring before going to Wallace Station. It turns out that they're associated. It was very hard to choose from the wonderful selection of baked goods. Definitely worth stopping to check out!

This little treasure was recommended to us by our horse barn tour guide Sean. It is a fun, relaxed bakery that has great treats. Everything was fresh tasty and left us wanting to go back for more. Definitely a place not to be missed.

A small bakery just outside the small town of Midway is a rare find. For Pie Day I purchased their coconut cream pie. It was sooooooooooo delicious. They have a wide variety of treats and offer daily specials. Will definitely go back.

A hidden gem. We ordered the bourbon-pecan-chocolate pie. It was so good that we’ll definitely order this excellent pie again (and again). Perfect for long holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. The corn on the cob (huge) cookies and Rona’s (equally huge) sorghum cookies were polished off soon as well. Rona wrote a great book on Sorghum. I didn’t know... More
