Four us went for Sunday brunch, two of us vegan. We were a little early, so we waited outside in lawn chairs facing the beautiful, cozy house. When we got seated, we took note of the beautiful, elegant decor and cozy homelike feel of the Inn. Our food was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the charming atmosphere and the nice... More

I have had the pleasure of dining here twice, most recently yesterday for an early Mother's Day lunch with family. From the delicious homemade biscuits and scones you are given upon seating to the unique entrees and desserts, this charming restaurant in a historic home doesn't disappoint. Even my teenage son raved about his food. Service is friendly and efficient... More

We took in the brunch before the Keeneland races and Holly Hill was an excellent choice. The dishes were a little heavier than I expected for brunch but were certainly delicious and make great leftovers. The wine list was short but could please all but most pickiest. I recommend it.

We went here with another couple for a friends night out. Holly Hill doesn't have a set menu that never changes. The menus have a theme and/or are based on what's in season and there are enough choices that everyone will find something they like. We all did the prix fixe menu and were all very happy with our choices.... More

Had dinner there last night with our friends from NYC. They had read about it in the Times and said it was known for the lamb and wagyu steak. The Inn is an old home with beautiful greenery everywhere. We traveled about 15 minutes from the downtown Lexington hotels. Big tree in the front was draped in lights, which we... More

This 150+ years old home is now a restaurant owned by a very well respected Kentucky chef. Drinks on the front porch on a beautiful evening, followed by wonderful dinner, dessert, and after dinner drink (they have a full bar, but most importantly a huge bourbon selection). I started with the shrimp bisque (rich and creamy, quite good), followed by... More

I have been a little critical of this restaurant in the past. I still say that the value is a little lacking in terms of cost versus what you get, but overall MUCH better than my original comments. The service level has improved GREATLY over the last couple of years. It seems that either the Executive Chef has become more... More

My wife and I have celebrated Valentines Day here for the last 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. We enjoyed the 7 course Aphrodisiacs Menu each visit. The atmosphere is perfect, the service efficient but unobtrusive and the food is simply wonderful. Inventive and perfectly cooked. I suspect we will be returning to celebrate the holiday many times in... More

Delicious fine dining experience. This place stands apart because it is approachable and not pretentious. The staff are relaxed and helpful and the building is beautiful. Some of the best food I've had, and an extensive drinks menu. If you are out on the Bourbon Trail or exploring horse farms, don't miss this gem.
